Pre-Validate rules are checked before the number is incremented and they change the way the user submits the number.
You must guess normally, i.e. your guess as a number at the start of your message.
You must guess in the form: `What is X + Y?`, where X and Y are numbers that equate to the next number.
You must guess in the form of a mathematical equation, which equals the next number after ignoring all decimal places. For example: `1.1111 * 9` which equals `9.9999` would be treated as `9`.
You must guess in Roman Numerals.
Counting rules change the way the next number is decided.
Count up in increments of 1
Count up in increments of 2
Count up in increments of 3
Count up in increments of 7
Count up by adding the previous two numbers together
Take two steps forward, then one step back.
To become Count of the Hill, you must guess correctly after the previous player by counting up in 2's. While you are Count of the Hill, you must guess correctly after yourself by counting up in 4's.
Take three steps forward, then one step back, then one step back.
First there was one, then there was two, how many doubles can you do?
Validate rules are checked once the user's guess is confirmed to match the next number, and they change meta aspects of the game.
Every guess keeps the balloon up in the air for one more hour. If the balloon hits the ground, the game is over. My friend Bluey taught me this one. ...You have 24 hours.
All guesses are accepted.
You must allow another player to take a turn after yours.
